Heartland Yoga is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher training school and retreat centre in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India, offering internationally recognised 200 Hour Multi-Style, 300 Hour Multi-Style, 200 Hour Kundalini and 300 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training courses, together with authentic 2‑Day, 3‑Day and 5‑Day yoga retreats in the foothills of the Himalayas.
At Heartland Yoga, we include traditional practices adopted from ancient Vedic scriptures and modern approaches. About Our Teachers
Our lead faculty are E-RYT 500 certified teachers who have trained under respected masters in Rishikesh, Mysore, and the Himalayan monastic tradition. Every teacher combines deep textual scholarship in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita with modern functional-anatomy knowledge, ensuring that every asana, pranayama, and meditation practice is safe, informed, and rooted in tradition.

How to Reach Heartland Yoga in Rishikesh
Our campus is located in Tapovan, Rishikesh, on the west bank of the Ganga near Laxman Jhula. International students typically arrive as follows:
- By air: Fly into Dehradun (DED) Jolly Grant Airport (35 km / 45 min drive) or Delhi (DEL) Indira Gandhi International (240 km / 6 hr drive). We provide complimentary DED pickup and paid DEL transfers.
- By train: Haridwar Junction (HW) and Rishikesh Railway Station (RKSH) are well-connected to Delhi. Local taxi to Tapovan takes 30–45 minutes.
- By road: Overnight Volvo buses run daily from Delhi's ISBT Kashmere Gate to Rishikesh.
- Visa: Most nationalities can travel on a Tourist e-Visa. On request we provide an invitation letter to support your visa application.

No. Our 200 Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training and 200 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training are designed for complete beginners and intermediate practitioners alike. Our 300 Hour programs, however, require prior 200 Hour certification or documented practice experience.
What is included in the course fee?
All courses include tuition, Yoga Alliance certification, private or shared accommodation on campus, three daily sattvic vegetarian meals, all study materials, weekend excursions, and complimentary airport pickup from Dehradun airport. Flights, visa fees, and travel insurance are not included.
How can international students get a visa for India?
